We’ve already discussed a few of the Termidor HP2’s features in earlier blog posts, but just in case you missed it, I thought I’d give a quick recap.
Essentially, the Termidor HP2 treatment applicator is a revolution in termite treatment technology. Before its release, one of the main issues of a traditional exterior termite treatment was getting access to the treatment area around the foundation.
Termites are subterranean dwellers, and this means that any effective treatment is going to require accessing the space about 10 inches below the surface of the soil. But this presents several problems.
For one, accessing this area means digging up the area around your home. This is labor-intensive, time-consuming, and can disturb your landscaping. Further, once the area is dug up, treatment must be carefully applied to ensure an even spread. If an area is missed or if too little treatment is used, there may be a vulnerability in your treatment barrier.
The result of this is that traditional termite treatments take a lot of time to complete, and if you don’t have a skilled, reliable pest technician, they may be improperly applied.
However, with the Termidor HP2, these problems are all a thing of the past. The Termidor HP2 method has several key advantages over traditional termite treatments that go above and beyond resolving the above issues.
For starters, the Termidor HP2 Applicator does not require ANY damage to the landscaping around your foundation.
Instead, the machine propels treatment from the surface into the soil uniformly and accurately. Treatment distribution is determined by the onboard computer system, which is accurate to 1/10 oz. This ensures that the treatment barrier is applied perfectly every single time, and entirely takes human error out of the equation!
Additionally, by taking out the requirement for trenching around the foundation, the HP2 allows treatments to be applied much faster. This results in a perfect treatment barrier created in a fraction of the time required for a traditional application.
Further, the HP2 applicator uses a specialized, highly effective treatment product. It requires significantly less water compared to traditional treatments as well. The combination of more effective (and therefore a lower required quantity) treatment and reduced water usage makes the HP2 an economically friendly option for dealing with termite threats!
Finally, HP2 treatments are effective for 10 years! Due to this, your home will be secured against termites for a long time!
At this point though, you’re probably thinking, “This treatment sure sounds great, but what’s the catch?”
